The CH33HF Bar Chimes comes from Meinl. A percussion instrument with 33 gold-colored, high-quality, anodized bars with an aluminum alloy and high tone frequency. You can play the sticks hanging on the wooden beam with the included beater. This generates magical and wonderful high-frequency tones. The CH33HF from Meinl is an instrument that can be used by orchestras, bands and individual musicians.
The instrument is an invention of studio percussionist Mark Stevens. For that reason a Bar Chimes is also called a Mark Tree. A name that, incidentally, was not invented by himself but by colleague Emil Richards. The 33 gold-colored rods hanging in a row are connected to the wooden girder by means of durable nylon cord. The support beam is perfectly balanced for the best possible effect
