The sound is relatively bright and full, but the 900 Series crash cymbal gets its voluminous character through undertones that round off the sound with warmth and punch. 2002 Bronze for an expressive sound character
All cymbals of the Paiste 900 Series are made from a B8 bronze alloy, better known as 2002 Bronze. The mixture in the ratio 92% copper to 8% tin is known for a very warm, brilliant and expressive sound character. The machine-made 900 Series cymbals are hammered and turned by hand by experienced Paiste Beckenschmieden, a real peculiarity in this price range. The special finish adds a dark glow to the 900 Series Cymbals and visually enhances duller and hammer marks for a spectacular look that blends roughness with elegance.
Great flexibility and excellent playability
The innovative design gives the 900 Series Drum Cymbals great flexibility and excellent playability. The sound is full and warm, peppered with well-proportioned heights. Larger and heavier models also have a good level of brilliance, sharpness and projection. The core of the program focuses on crash and ride pools of various sizes in medium and heavy strength. A selection of Hi-Hats, Splashes and China completes the program.
