A heavy, full-sounding, robust 24″ Mega-Ride-Cymbal from the Paiste ColorSound 900 Series with musical energy, volume and particularly dynamic response CuSn8 Bronze also known as 2000s bronze ) and carefully hammered by hand.
Paiste Color Sound 900
After Paiste had already released coloured cymbal models for the first time in 1984 with COLORSOUND 5 , they also released some, at least partly coloured cymbals with artists like Stewart Copeland (The Police), Aquuiles Priester Primal Fear), and Danny Carey (Tool). Paiste now again have a large selection of coloured cymblas in their portfolio, the ColorSound 900 series.
The 900 ColorSound Series is made of Paiste 2002 bronze, just like the 900 Series .
This material is characterised by its flexible application possibilities. It is suitable both for thin cymbals that should be warm and easy to vibrate, as well as for use with rock and heavy cymbals, which should be stable, powerful and effective.
The handwork in this series of Cymbals consists of Turning and Hammering.
Due to the special finish, the Paiste 900 variants are slightly darker, the hammer marks and grooves are more prone to give the instruments a very noble look.
