Paiste Color Sound 900
After Paiste first launched colored cymbals in 1984 with the Colorsound 5 Series cymbals and also partly in the 90s with artists such as Stewart Copeland (The Police), Aquiles Priesters (Primal Fear) and Danny Carey (Tool) developed colored cymbals, is now again a wide selection of “colored” cymbals in the Paiste range available: The Color Sound 900 Series.
The Color Sound 900 Series is just like the 900 Series from Paiste 2002 bronze hand-crafted. This material is characterized by the flexible deployment options. It is suitable for both thinner cymbals that sound warm and have a sensitive response, as well as for rock and heavy cymbals, which are stable, powerful and more durable.
After pressing the basic form, the jaws are turned and hammered by hand.
The special finish makes the Paiste 900 variants slightly darker, the hammers spots and grooves protrude more and give the cymbals a luxurious look.
The Paiste Color Sound 900 Series includes many different sounds and sizes:
Splashes in 10 “and 12”,
Chinas in 14 “, 16” and 18 “,
Crashes in 16 “, 17”, 18 “, 19″ and 20 ”
Rides in 20 “, 22″ and 24 ”
HiHats in 14 “and 15”
