J for “Jazz”. These 10mil single-ply heads have an etched finish that combines the sustain of an uncoated head wih the warmth of a traditional coating.

This head delivers a brilliant rimshot without sacrificing depth. Warm and dense in the center with a full sustain on the edges.

Instrument: Timbales or Drum Set Tom-Tom and Snare

While originally developed and still marketed to the Timbale market, these heads have found a secondary home with the Jazz Drumming Community and is currently being used by several top Jazz Artists on both coasts of this country.
Evans uses the Level 360 Drum Head Technology on all it’s drum heads.
