Originated as small timpani and especially heard in Caribbean music, the timbales have their own sound character. The sharp, sharp sound excellently cuts through the sound of a large band. Meinl has various timbales in its range, including this chrome-plated Headliner HT1314CH. A set of two timbales of 13 and 14 inches.
The boilers are supplied including adjustable and very sturdy, three-legged standard. A cowbell holder is not missing, for even more tasty accents. With the included tuning key you have the HT1314CH in no time at optimum sounding voltage. These timbales from Meinl provide the right rimshot accents and are also wonderful as a supplement to the drum setup of latin drummers
